Westminster calendar of events

The Westminster Senior Center is open Monday through Friday 8 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 4 p.m. and is located in the American Legion Hall, 127 Main St. For more information, call Susan Fisher at (978) 874-7402.

M.O.C. meals are delivered daily. To reserve a meal, you must call (800) 286- 3441, before 11 a.m. the day before.

A minimum of 24-hour advanced notice is necessary to reserve seating on the Council on Aging curb-to-curb van service. The COA has two shopping days a week - Searstown on Tuesday afternoons and to Gardner on Thursday mornings.

December happenings

The MART Van will have a price increase beginning Dec. 1. In town oneway is 50 cents; in town round trip is $1; out of town one-way is 75 cents; out of town round trip is $1.50.

The Friendship Club will hold a Christmas Party at noon Wednesday, Dec. 5, at the Westminster Country Club, 51 Ellis Road. For tickets, call Ann MacAloney at (978) 874-2036.

A Flu/Blood Pressure Clinic will be held from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday, Dec. 6, at the center.

The annual Senior Center Christmas Party will be held from noon to 2 p.m.

Wednesday, Dec. 12, at the center. Goodies and salads would be greatly appreciated.
