Applewild students experience the Harrington Outdoor Center

Fourth grade students of Applewild School in Fitchburg enjoyed team building activities at the Harrington Outdoor Center in Boylston, recently. Led by instructors Stephanie Syre-Hager, Nanci Shepardson and Laura Hubbard the students worked together to build trust, self-confidence, communication and appreciation as partners dependent upon each other to work in a functional, unified group.

Students participated in activities that promoted problem solving, listening skills, and conflict resolution, connected to their science and physical education curricula.
