Kerr nominated for Rhodes

Ian Kerr of Westminster, was chosen as Salve Regina University's candidate for the prestigious Rhodes Scholarship, which was established in 1902 by British philanthropist Cecil Rhodes to offer two-year, graduate-level scholarships to outstanding students from around the world to study at Oxford University in England.
He will graduate from Salve Regina in May 2008 with a double major in anthropology and cultural and historic preservation. He maintains a 3.9 GPA and has attained the Dean's List each semester. He is a member of the Pell Scholars Honors Program and a member of several clubs and organizations including Campus Ministry, Sigma Phi Sigma
the National Mercy Honor Society) and the Anthropology Club.
Kerr is the son of John and Nancy Loiselle of Westminster and Paul and Ann Kerr of Natick. He is a 2004 graduate of Oakmont Regional High School, Ashburnham.
