Mary A. (Maggi) Blanchette, 76

LEOMINSTER - Mary A. (Maggi) Blanchette, 76, of Fitchburg, died Thursday evening, Nov. 22, 2007, in Life Care Center of Leominster, after an illness.

Mary was a teacher for the Ashburnham Elementary School in the 1950s.

She leaves her husband of 54 years, Gilles Blanchette; one son, Mark Blanchette of Leicester; four daughters, Jill and her husband, William Gleason of Fitchburg, Lori Blanchette and her partner, Bonnie Merrifield of Springfield, Lisa and her husband, Dwight Harding of Barre, and Lynn and her husband, Keith Cormier of Fitchburg; one sister, Catherine Belliveau of Buckingham, Pa.; seven nephews and nieces; and six grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Richard and Peter Maggi and one sister, Gloria Jancaitus.
