Always on Call offers American Heart Association courses

LEOMINSTER - Always On Call Health Services®, Inc. will be offering two American Heart Association BLS Health Care Provider CPR courses for Infant, Child, Adult (and AED) Thursdays, Jan. 3, and Jan.10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This course is geared for people who work within the healthcare industry and nursing school students. Christian Performing Arts Center announces auditions

FITCHBURG - The Christian Performing Arts Center announces auditions for its February theatre production of "Do Lord Remember Me" by James de Jongh. This fulllength production of theatre, dance, and song is based on documented interviews with freed slaves in the 1930s. "Do Lord Remember Me" will be presented as part of Black History Month.

Roles available for one black actress and two black actors who can change age, voice, and characterization, as well as sing and move expressively. Actors must prepare one monologue and sing one song a cappella for audition. Rehearsals will begin after Christmas and are tentatively scheduled for Saturdays. The production will run the last two weeks of February.

Pilgrim Congregational Church reschedules Christmas events

Due to the recent inclement weather, the Pilgrim Congregational Church's Living Pageant has been rescheduled for 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 23, at Pilgrim Congregational Church, 26 West St., Leominster. The pageant will be comprised of children and young adults from the Sunday school classes. Sunday school classes will not be held, but childcare for age infant to 2 years will be available.

Also, the Merrimack Valley Ringers Bell Concert has been rescheduled for 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, also at the church. For more information, please call (978) 534-5164.
