      Top Story: Selectmen ask Department of Public Works Director Don Ouellette to present three options to voters on how to repair the roads and how to pay for it. Ouellette proposed seven options of funding a comprehensive road repair program to Selectmen at the beginning of January.

      Ashburnham resident and event organizer, Louise Reid, has been busy collecting hundreds of donated books in many categories for a month-long book sale to be held at the Ashburnham Senior Center, 1 Memorial Drive. Hours for the sales will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.

Ashburnham Council on Aging February events
      The Ashburnham Council on Aging (COA) provides numerous services for the senior citizens in town, most at little or no cost. The Ashburnham Senior Center is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is located on 1 Memorial Drive in the same building as, and next to, the Ashburnham Police Department.
