Federal agencies suggests rail funding

After the federal government this week committed funding for the expansion of the commuter rail in Boston, eyes to a transportation bond bill that sits on Beacon Hill. The Federal Transit Administration announced its recommended projects for funding on Tuesday, and included $74.99 million for the commuter rail, with $30 million available next year.
