First Church of God to celebrate women
      First Church of God in Christ, 82 Snow St., Fitchburg will celebrate its Third Annual Summer Women's Conference on Friday, Aug. 29 and Saturday, Aug. 30. The theme of the event is "Women Anointed To Fulfill God's Purpose." A spirit-filled worship service with a guest speaker will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

      Townsend United Methodist Church will resume the 9:30 am worship schedule Sunday, Sept. 7. Nursery care is available every Sunday for ages three and under, and Sunday School classes are for age four and up. Sunday School Rally Day is Sept. 14.

      Pilgrim Congregational Church UCC will host "Homecoming Sunday" on Sunday, Sept. 7, at the church, located at 26 West St., Leominster. Children of all ages are encouraged to register for Sunday School.
