The National Alliance on Mental Illness of North Central Massachusetts will sponsor an educational workshop for parents of children with special needs, "Planning for the Future of Your Child with Special Needs," on Wednesday, Sept. 24, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Fidelity Co-Operative Bank, 9 Leominster Connector, Leominster.
