The Zoning Board of Appeals has given their approval to the Bresnahan Scouting and Community Center, but that approval was conditional based on the plans presented to them. The ZBA had to review the proposal for the building being proposed for the small town-owned lot on the corner of River and Main streets because the lot is smaller than allowed by zoning regulations. A few years ago Tim Fissette, the owner of Tweedo's Variety on Dunn Road, started the give away his ice cream at the end of the summer when he tried to raise money to support the victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
