The population of Ashburnham increased last week by 445 as the students at Cushing Academy returned for the 2008-2009 school year. Headmaster James Tracy said this will be an exciting year for the school as they start to implement changes to the master plan and start the second year of The Cushing Institute for 21st Century program.
