(UPDATED - FRIDAY 12:31 p.m.) Emergency Management officials have closed down overnight shelters in both Ashburnham and Westminster as power restoration continues. On Friday morning, Westminster Police Chief Salvatore Albert said about 60 percent of the town had power. He said many of those still out are individual homes or groups of homes, but that some roads such as parts of Ellis and Minott remain out of power. Just over 150 homes in Ashburnham remain without power.
