Cookies and blanket collected

Area residents made a number of lap afgans and other blankets for local veterans homes and to send to troops in Iraq. Additionally, Westminster Elementary School Principal David Marble delivered two sets of cookies, totaling over 272 dozen, to be packed up with care packages to Iraq to Elaine Jones (above). Some of the cookies and care packages were sent to veterans care organizations locally. COURTESY PHOTO
