David M. Desjardins, 37
Enjoyed spending time with family

STERLING - David M. Desjardins, 37, of 1 Pheasant Hill Lane, formerly of Westminster, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008, at Clinton Hospital, after an illness.

He was born on March 23, 1970, in Fitchburg.

He loved music and spending time with his family, and taking trips. He also loved going to the movies and plays. David worked at the two therapeutic work options thru Seven Hills in West Boylston. He was also a member of St. Edward the Confessor Church.

David leaves his mother, Shirley (Hibbert) Desjardins of Westminster; his father and step-mother, Ronald and Carolyn (Sheldon) Desjardins of Gardner; his sister, Patricia (Desjardins) Fields and her husband, Dana of Ashburnham; his step-sister, Edris (Sheldon) Tracy of Rutland; his grandmother, Rita Desjardins of Leominster; his sister-in-law, Regina Desjardins of Alabama; three nieces and a nephew, Carissa Raposa of Baldwinville, Taylor Elise Desjardins of Alabama, and Orrin Fields and Riana Fields both of Ashburnham; and a great-niece, Aubrey Raposa of Baldwinville. He is predeceased by his brother, Thomas Desjardins, who died in July 24, 1998.

Funeral services are Friday, Jan. 11, from the Westminster Chapel of the Sawyer- Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Homes, 123 Main St., Westminster, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Edward the Confessor Church, 10 Church St., Westminster, MA 01473. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery, 9 Narrows Road, Westminster. A calling hour will be held from 9 to 9:40 a.m. on Friday prior to the funeral.
