Salvation Army: Thank you donors, volunteers

To the Editor:

The Ashburnham unit of the Salvation Army wishes to extend its gratitude to all the donors and volunteer bellringers at the kettles during the pre-Christmas season. This year's kettle drive was highly successful, raising $ 3,500. This success could not have been achieved without all you donors, and all you volunteers who gave your time.

Everywhere, public contributions to the kettles enable The Salvation Army to bring the spirit of Christmas to those who would otherwise be forgotten - to the aged and lonely, the ill, the inmates of jails and other institutions and their families, and the poor and unfortunate.

The Ashburnham Service unit of the Salvation Army can provide emergency, temporary services for any Ashburnham resident in need. If you have a need, please contact Pastor Dan Allen at Peoples Congregational Church. For more information, please call: (978) 827-4010 (Peoples Church).
