Registration to begin for Pan-Massachusetts Challenge

Register to ride in the 29th annual Pan-Massachusetts Challenge starting at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15, by logging on to www.pmc.org. Open to 5,500 cyclists, the PMC will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 2 and 3, 2008. This year's goal is to raise $34 million for the Jimmy Fund, which supports cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. To date, the PMC has raised more than $204 million for the world-renowned cancer center.

Minimum fundraising requirements range from $1,300 to $4,000, depending upon the route chosen. There is a $170 registration fee. Support services, meals, and overnight accommodations will be provided. For more information, or to register, visit www.pmc. org, or call (800) WE-CYCLE.
