State gives town permission to borrow for water tank upgrades

      Ashburnham received approval from the state on Wednesday to take out a $4.3 million loan from the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund in 2008, if approval is granted at town meeting.

2008-09 Kindergarten registration
      The Ashburnham-Westminster Regional School District is holding its registration period for incoming kindergarten students until Friday, Feb. 1. Any child who will turn five before Sept. 1, 2008, should register for kindergarten during this period.
