      Last week in basketball action, the Lady Spartans dropped a close game to Lunenburg 64-57 on Tuesday, Jan. 8. Oakmont had the lead at halftime, but couldn't hold against a tough Lunenburg squad. Colleen Doherty had 19 points and Sally Leger tossed in 14 points.
