GFA approved as MHA lender

GFA Federal Credit Union recently announced that it has been approved by the Mass Housing Agency as an MHA lender. GFA has partnered with MHA to provide a range of mortgages and services for low- and moderate-income homebuyers and homeowners in Massachusetts.

Through MHA, GFA will offer mortgage programs designed to create affordable home ownership. With eligibility limitations, the MHA programs are targeted to assist underserved consumers in their goal of homeownership. Features of these programs include low down payments, affordable mortgage insurance, and competitive rates.

"GFA has always looked for ways to help members fulfill their dreams of home ownership," said Brenda Bujnevicie, vice president of lending. "As an MHA approved lender, we now have even more options available, especially to first-time home-buyers or those without a down payment."

GFA Federal Credit Union is a financial institution serving central Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire, and has a branch in Fitchburg.
