Municipal Service Firefighter Examination upcoming

BOSTON - The Human Resources Division is now accepting applications for the upcoming entry-level Municipal Service Firefighter examination on Saturday, April 26.

This examination determines a list of eligible candidates for appointment to firefighter positions in cities and towns covered by the Civil Service Statute for two years following the establishment of the eligible list.

Any constituents interested in obtaining an application for the examination should contact Kyle Toto in State Sen. Stephen M. Brewer's office by calling (617) 722-1540.

Please be advised that the deadline for filing the application with the Human Resources Division is Tuesday, March 18.

The examination fee is $75 and there is an additional $25 processing fee for applications received after March 18. Applications will not be accepted after April 1.
