Dolores T. (Dionne) Vilandry, 77
Enjoyed spending time with family

LEOMINSTER - Dolores T. (Dionne) Vilandry, 77, of 264 Main St., formerly of 117 Vine St., Fitchburg, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2008, in her home.

She was born on July 28, 1930, in Fitchburg, the daughter of the late Fredrick and Aldora (Rheault) Dionne.

Mrs. Vilandry worked for the Independent Lock Company, Tilton & Cook, and J D Industries. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 429, and served as Sergeant at Arms of the unit. She enjoyed spending time with her family at Old Orchard Beach, and going to her great-grandson's hockey games. She loved the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox.

She leaves her husband to whom she was happily married for 57 years, Leonard Vilandry, Sr.; two sons, Leonard Vilandry, Jr. and his wife, Debra, of Lunenburg and Fredrick and Anne Vilandry, with whom she lived; two sisters, Pauline Beaulac of Fitchburg and Shirley Mariotti of Westminster; two granddaughters, Amy Therrien and her husband, Greg, of Fitchburg and Dawn Marie Vilandry and her companion, Sam Martin, of Greenland, N.H.; five great-grandchildren, Haley Martin, Connor Joseph Casacca, Shania Therrien, Chad Therrien, and Zachary Sam Houston Martin; and her adopted grandson, John George Henry Bozicas. She was predeceased by her sister, Gloria "Honey" Cormier.

Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 429, 200 Daniels St., Fitchburg, MA 01420.
