Three Main Street buildings up for sale

The newly built commercial building in the center of Westminster is up for sale, along with the other two buildings and a fourth location on the lot.

Joe Pandiscio, the owner of the property, did not want to comment on the potential sale of the property.

He said the family's restaurant, Joe's Bistro, was not part of this sale.

The 17-acre lot is listed on the Century 21 Real Estate Web site for $4.8 million. It offers three buildings with "plans to build a fourth building with two tenants ready to go."

The other buildings are the 10-unit building that was opened during the spring, a two-unit apartment building, and a fourunit commercial building.

The listing states that the fourth building could be built on the land for a total selling price of $6.4 million.

In April 2007, the Planning Board approved the demolition of the old building, which had housed Joe's Bistro, and the construction of a 445,000 square foot, three-tenant building with a single drivethru.

Town Planner Alicia Altieri said the site approval the Planning Board granted will stand for two years, and expires April 23, 2009.

"If they use the same site plan and someone else does it, that decision stands," she said.

If a new owner wants to change the plans, then the applicant would have to go before the Planning Board for an additional review.
