Roger E. Hill, 93
Owned TV and radio repair business

LEOMINSTER - Roger E. Hill, 93, of 193 North St. and Sterling Health Care Center, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008, at Sterling Health Care Center, with his loving family by his side.

Roger was born in Fitchburg on Sept. 2, 1914, the son of the late J. Frank and Lillian (Whitham) Hill.

He was co-owner of J. Frank Hill and son (NE Store) at King's Corner, Main Street, Leominster and had his own TV and radio repair business.

Roger was a member of Christ Church of Fitchburg and All

Saints Chapel of Leominster. He was an active life-time member of the Fitchburg Lions Club and served as president from 1980 to 1981. He earned the Joseph Camarda Fellowship award in 1993 and the Melvin Jones award in 1995.

Roger is survived by a son, Dana Hill and his friend, Sandy Messer, of Leominster; a daughter, Marcia Andre and her husband, Gene, of Hudson, Fla.; five grandchildren, Timothy Hill of Ashburnham, Jeffrey Hill of Fitchburg, Aliceson Hill of Leominster, David Andre of Ocoee, Fla.; and Mark Andre of Pine Hill, N.J.; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Roger's wife of 53 years, Rachel (Kenney) Hill, died May 13, 1994. His sister, Avis Harrell, also predeceased him.

Bosk Funeral Home directed arrangements.
