Vallee joins 1,000-point club at Nichols

Senior Chris Vallee, a 2004 Oakmont graduate, became the 21st player in Nichols College's history to score 1,000 points.

The college junior helped guide Nichols men's basketball past New England College, 82-74, with a game-high 22 points on Saturday, Jan. 19. His jumper with 13:21 left in the second half broke him nto the 1,000 point club.

Vallee, of Fitchburg, added team-highs of nine rebounds and five assists to his 22 points.

Nichole's season continued on Wednesday. The Bison record after Saturday's game was 5-9 overall and 2-1 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference.
