John Anthony Barresi, 42

ASHBURNHAM - John Anthony Barresi, 42, of Ashburnham, died unexpectedly at home on Monday, Jan. 28, 2008.

John was born in Somerville on Aug. 4, 1965, the son of Anthony and Joyce (Puppo) Barresi. He grew up in Somerville and graduated from Somerville High School.

He worked as a printer for Mead-West Vaco Co. in Worcester until a back injury forced him to retire a year ago. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Besides his mother, Joyce of Revere; John leaves his wife of five years, Deborah L. (Devana) Barresi of Ashburnham; a step-son, Robert S. Perry and a step-daughter, Kaci L. Perry both of Mashpee; his sister, Christine Cocorochio; a nephew, Michael Barresi and a niece, Hayley Cocorochio all of Revere.

Calling hours in the Bosk Funeral Home, 85 Blossom St., Fitchburg are Saturday, Feb. 2, from 4 to 8 p.m. A prayer service will take place at 7 p.m. Burial will take place in St. Denis Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family and left at the funeral home.
