For the next good read

Ashburnham resident and event organizer, Louise Reid, has been busy collecting hundreds of donated books in many categories for a month-long book sale to be held at the Ashburnham Senior Center, 1 Memorial Drive. Hours for the sales will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.

Books will be offered in categories as follows: Feb 7, 8 and 9 - Romances; Feb 14, 15 and 16 - Mysteries & true crime; Feb 21, 22 and 23 - Espionage, horror, war and science fiction; Feb 28, 29 and March 1 - General & historical fiction, classics, craft, cook and diet books. Proceeds to benefit the town's Conservation Trust (ACT) and Historical Society.
