Pierre V. Antonelli, 59
Enjoyed spending time with family

FITCHBURG - Pierre V. Antonelli, 59, of Fitchburg, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, in Health Alliance Hospital/Leominster after he was stricken ill while driving on Route 2.

He was born on Feb. 23, 1948, in Lowell, the son of Louis and Dorothy (Doucette) Antonelli and lived in Tewksbury many years. He was a graduate of Tewksbury Memorial High School and also attended Merrimack College. He also lived in Ashburnham before moving to Fitchburg in 1994.

Pierre had been a limousine driver for the past 10 years for Butler Limousine of Westminster. He, along with his wife, Judy, loved going to visit Disney World in Florida and had made several trips there since 1986. He also loved to collect trains and spend time enjoying his family.

He leaves his wife of 29 years, Judy (Fleming) Antonelli; his two sons, Kenneth Walsh and his companion, Bretton Boutilier of Marlow, N.H. and Daniel Walsh and his wife, Rebecca of Templeton; one daughter, Heather Antonelli and her companion, Stephen Friedman of South Hadley; and four grandchildren, Ian Walsh, Arren Walsh, Amanda Killay-Walsh, and Kali L'Ecuyer; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held today at 1 p.m. in Lavery Chartrand & Alario Funeral Home, 99 Summer St., Fitchburg. A visitation period will precede the service from noon to 1 p.m. The Rev. Edward Neuhaus will officiate.
