May announces re-election plans

Lance D. May, Republican State Committeeman for the Worcester-Middlesex Senatorial District, has announced his candidacy for re-election.

The Senatorial District consists of the towns of Westminster, Ashby, Bolton, Clinton (prect. 1), Lancaster (prect. 1), Lunenburg, Sterling and Townsend and the cities of Fitchburg, Gardner and Leominster.

May was elected during a special election on Sept. 13, 1999, and is currently the chairman of the Lunenburg Republican Town Committee.

He is a member of the Board of Trustees for Mount Wachusett Community College. He is a graduate of Lunenburg High School and Mount Wachusett Community College, where he is a member of the Board of Trustees. He attended Fitchburg State College and received certificates in labor studies from the Holy Cross College and the Unviersity of Massachusetts Institute of Labor Affairs.
