Children's Room to reopen this week The Forbush Memorial Library will be re-opening in a limited manner starting Monday, Feb. 11 at 1 p.m. The first area of the library to re-open will be the Children's Room. The area will be open to the public for circulation services only at this time. The repairs and the clean-up from the water damage from the broken pipe "are progressing well," according to Library Director Margaret Howe-Soper. "Areas of the Library will reopen to the public as the work has been completed in those sections." The hours for the Children's Room will be Mondays and Tuesdays from 1 to 8 p.m.; Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Any outstanding books can be returned to the library's book boxes or to other libraries in the area. "Fines for Forbush's overdue books, audio books, music, and movies will be forgiven during February," Howe-Soper said. |
