Westminster COA's February calendar

The Westminster Senior Center is open Monday through Friday 8 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 4 p.m. and is located in the American Legion Hall, 127 Main St. For more information, call Susan Fisher at (978) 874-7402.

M.O.C. meals are delivered daily. To reserve a meal, you must call (800) 286-3441, before 11 a.m. the day before.

A minimum of 24-hour advanced notice is necessary to reserve seating on the Council on Aging curb-to-curb van service. The COA has two shopping days a week - Searstown on Tuesday afternoons and to Gardner on Thursday mornings.

Upcoming Events:

The Council on Aging Board Meeting will be held at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at the center. Meetings are open to the public and held the third Wednesday of every month.

Diane Moore will lead a gentle stretch class at 9 a.m.

Monday, Feb. 25, at the center.

An AARP volunteer will visit the center from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursdays, March 6 and March 13, for help with tax returns. One-hour appointments will be available. Call the C.O.A. to schedule an appointment.
