Christian Performing Arts presents 'Do Lord Remember Me'

FITCHBURG - To celebrate Black History Month, the Christian Performing Arts Center presents "Do Lord Remember Me" at North Central Charter Essential School, One Oak Hill Road. Directed by CPAC's artistic director, Jennifer Potts, the play by James de Jongh is based on documented interviews with freed slaves in the 1930s. Cast members include Tim Scott, Daniel Rios, Michele Egerton, Andrea Seward, Marciya Harrington, and Handsome Phiri. Performances are Feb. 15, 16, 22, 23, at 7 p.m. and Feb. 24, at 2 p.m. Call (978) 345-2915.

Art museum presents 'New England/New Talent'

FITCHBURG - "New England/New Talent," sponsored by Bank of America, opens Sunday, Feb. 17, from noon to 4 p.m., and runs through June 1, at the Fitchburg Art Museum, Merriam Parkway. A juried selection of established and emerging contemporary artists from New England present thought-provoking paintings, drawings, prints, and installations. The museum also presents "A Fine Line: 20th-Century Prints from the Collection" Feb. 17 through June 1. Drawn from the museum's permanent collection of works of art on paper, this exhibition presents superb examples of lithography, etching, engraving, and woodblock prints from some of the 20th century's finest artists. Art Association features member workshop

LEOMINSTER - The Leominster Art Association will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Congregational Church of Christ, 583 Main St., North Leominster, featuring member workshops: Ellen Donaldson - printing; Amy Kukta - acrylic painting; Luanne Hume - pan pastels (pastels needed); and Pam Levesque - fabric painting. Meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month. There is a $5 guest fee that may be applied toward membership.
