Daffodil Days helps those in need As the first flower of spring, the daffodil is a symbol of hope. To the American Cancer Society, it represents the hope everyone shares for a future where cancer is no longer a life-threatening disease. Everyone can provide hope to all people affected by the disease by participating in the American Cancer Society Daffodil Days. Available for purchase are: a bouquet of 10 daffodils, cost is $10; Boyds Bear and 10 daffodils, cost is $25; Potted daffodil bulbs in bloom, cost is $15; a Gift of Hope, cost is $20. If you wish to order, please drop off (or mail) a check (payable to: The American Cancer Society) or cash to Betty Kaza, Town Secretary, Town Hall, Room 202, 11 South St., Westminster, before Friday, Feb. 22.
