FITCHBURG - Area gardeners, horticulturists and flower fans are invited to partake in Fitchburg Art Museum's acclaimed annual festival of floral displays, "Art In Bloom 2008," which will be held at the museum, located on Merriam Parkway, April 25 through 27.

Art in Bloom Committee Chair, Museum Development Director Janice Goodrow, will oversee the festivities, which include a Friday evening banquet, gardening lectures, and a wide array of floral interpretations of paintings in the galleries.

"We are very excited about our 10th Art In Bloom festival," said Goodrow. "Having our festival in April will get area flower fanciers off to an early spring. We welcome participants on the planning level and interpreters."

For information, or to participate, call Janice Goodrow at (978) 345-4207, Ext. 306.
