WESTMINSTER - Charles "Charlie" E. Baril, 46, of 171 Narrows Road, died Friday, Feb. 29, 2008, at his home after a long illness.
He was born in Roswell, New Mexico on May 9, 1961. He was a 1979 graduate of Oakmont Regional High School and graduated from Mount Wachusett Community College in 2000 with an Associates Degree in computer science.
Charlie was the director of maintenance at the Sisters of the Presentation Convent in Leominster for 20 years.
He had lived in Westminster since 1975. He was a member of St. Edward the Confessor Church.
Charlie leaves his wife of 23 years, Jayne-Ann (Grainger) Baril; three daughters, Talia Baril, Jocelyn Baril, and Brianna Baril all of Westminster; his parents, Norman and Stella (Sanchez) Baril of Westminster; two sisters, Denise MacAloney of Westminster and Clarise Baril Bushey of Lunenburg; his mother-in-law, Barbara Grainger of Westminster; several nieces and nephews.
The Westminster Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Homes directed arrangements. In lieu of flowers, Charlie's family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Baril Children's Scholarship Fund, c/o I-C Federal Credit Union, 101 Main St., Westminster, MA 01473.
