Carroll named CEO, president of Lasermax
William Carroll, of Westminster, was appointed to the position of president and CEO of Lasermax Roll Systems AB.

Carroll has worked as the president, Americas for the past three years.

Lasermax Roll Systems - with facilities in Burlington and Ljungby, Sweden - is a company that designs, manufactures and sells automated paper handling and vision-based production and quality control systems for digital print production in over 50 countries.

Prior to the formation of Lasermax Roll Systems as a result of the merger between Roll Systems and the Lasermax division of Stralfors AB, Carroll served at Roll Systems for nine years in a variety of positions, culminating in the position of president of Roll Systems.

Earlier in his career, Carroll worked for 14 years at Digital Equipment Corporation, mostly in senior international management assignments particularly in Asia.

He is also a U.S. Coast Guard veteran, a graduate of Framingham State College, and has earned his Master's degree from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy at Tufts University.
