Pauline (Gayarsky) Lagasse, 89 FITCHBURG - Pauline (Gayarsky) Lagasse, 89, of Summer St., died Thursday, March 13, 2008, in HealthAlliance Hospital/Leominster. She was born on Feb. 28, 1919, in Norwalk, Conn., the daughter of Joseph and Pauline (Polacik) Gayarsky and had been a resident of Fitchburg for 75 years. Before retiring several years ago, Mrs. Lagasse worked for Independent Lock Co. She was a member of St. Camillus Church. Mrs. Lagasse leaves one son, Maurice (Moe) Lagasse Jr. and his wife, Joan, of Fitchburg; one daughter, Judith Brenner and her husband, Philip of Fort Pierce, Fla.; five grandchildren, Philip Brenner Jr. and his wife, Sara, of Oxford, Amy Lagasse of Philadelphia and her fiancé, Richard, Locascio, Matthew Brenner and his wife, Lindsay, of Fitchburg, Jeffrey Lagasse of Phoenix, Ariz. and Gregory Brenner and his wife, Sandra, of East Longmeadow; one brother, Frank Gayarsky of Westminster; and many nieces and nephews. Her husband of 59 years, Maurice Lagasse Sr., died in 2005. Memorial donations may be made to St. Camillus Parish, 333 Mechanic St., Fitchburg MA 01420. Aubuchon-Moorcroft Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. |
