Director gives a public thanks for helpers

To the Editor:

Here is a sincere "hats off" to the wonderful area volunteers who pitched in on short notice last Friday to help the Forbush Memorial Library get ready for the book sale that started on March 15. We could not have done it without you.

Most of our volunteers were Oakmont Regional High and Meetinghouse School students recruited by their teachers and Scouts. They will be thanked personally, but I just wanted to give them a public "thank you" as well. Westminster, Ashburnham, and Winchendon can be proud of have each and every one of you.
