Street hockey registrations start

The Fitchburg Street Hockey League, open to players from Fitchburg, Leominster, Townsend and surrounding towns, will be holding registrations for the upcoming Spring 2008 season, which is scheduled to start April 19.

Registration will be held on March 27 and 28, and April 3 and 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. Registration will also be held on March 29 and April 5 from 9 a.m. to noon. Registration is held at the league's blockhouse at Coolidge Park on John Fitch Highway in Fitchburg.

The league is open to players ages 4 through 15, and the fee is $50 per player at all levels. Age is determined by child's age on Jan. 1, 2008.
