Avon Breast Cancer Walk fund-raisers

Kath-e Westwood and her friend, Nancy Creamer, will be walking in the Avon Breast Cancer walk this May. This will be the first year their team, "Tickle Me Pink," participates in the walk. To raise funds for the walk, a comedy show will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 484 Lancaster St. Doors open at 7 p.m. There will be split pot/raffles and a lots of fun. Tickets are $20 per person, with all proceeds going to cancer charities. The "Tickle Me Pink" gals strongly suggest advance tickets, which can be purchased by calling (978) 632-8703.

Westwood is also captain of "Happy Feet," for the Relay For Life, which will be held at Mount Wachusett Community College, Gardner, from 6 p.m. Friday, June 7 through 6 p.m. Saturday, June 7. If you would like to make a donation for either charity, please call Westwood at (978) 632-8703.
