Local resident celebrates his art
 | | Jumpin Juice and Java Restaurant, located at 486 Chesnut St., Gardner, is hosting an art exhibit for Brian Beaudoin's artwork. The exhibit is on display now through Thursday, May 29, with an artist reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 5. Free. Beaudoin's New England inspired art work is created in many different mediums and themes. He has taught art lessons to students from the age of 4 to 84 for the last 20 years. Beaudoin has also taught art for the Ashburnham-Westminster school district and is currently teaching at Overlook Middle School. He has done many demonstrations including some for the Leominster Art Association, the Mass. Art Education Association and the Gardner Art Association. He was named Middle School Art Teacher of the Year in 2000 and in 1998 was chosen Art Educator of the Year. Beaudoin has won numerous awards throughout New England. He is also the director of the Applewild Adventure Camp in Fitchburg. Beaudoin resides in Westminster. |
