Encore Local performers light up the night life every day of the week. Find out who's playing in your neighborhood: Friday, April 4 The Westminster-based artist Ken Macy will be performing at Hooligans, 29 Blossom St., Fitchburg at 10 p.m. Macy mixes rock, blues and funk into his original music, playing with the attitude that "music is life." Saturday, April 5 Local acoustic artist John Nickerson will be performing at The Boulder Café, 880 Main St., Fitchburg at 9 p.m. Nickerson has been performing music for over 15 years and brings energy and skill to the stage, performing a large variety of songs from the 1950s to today as well as original material.
