Westminster COA events

The Westminster Senior Center is open Monday through Friday 8 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 4 p.m. and is located in the American Legion Hall, 127 Main St. For more information, call Susan Fisher at (978) 874-7402.

M.O.C. meals are delivered daily. To reserve a meal, you must call (800) 286- 3441, before 11 a.m. the day before.

A minimum of 24-hour advanced notice is necessary to reserve seating on the Council on Aging curb-to-curb van service. The COA has two shopping days a week - Searstown on Tuesday afternoons and to Gardner on Thursday mornings.

Upcoming Events for April

Diane Moore will lead a gentle stretch class at 9 a.m. each Monday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Call to sign up.

A "Music and Magic Show" will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, at the senior center.

A Volunteer Recognition Dinner will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, at McNally's Grille & Pub, 88 Sargent Road, Westminster. A sign-up sheet is located in the Senior Center, or people can call the Council on Aging office to sign up.

Spring is only around the corner. Crocker Pond will be open on May 24, remember to get stickers from the Town Clerk's office.
