Locals perform at FutureStars

A band including four students at the Oakmont Regional High School will be part of the second annual FutureStars event at the Bull Run Restaurant.

The band members are Kyle Billings, Brian Miglorino, Nick Charron, and Alex Spurr.

City Music, a music store located in Leominster and Gardner, will host the FutureStars event, which will be held in Shirley on Sunday, April 13, 4 to 8 p.m.

The band Brigade of Aces was picked based on their demo CD of 'ska' music.

The tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door and can be purchased from the band members, the Bull Run and City Music. Proceeds from the show will benefit the Leominster Music Boosters.

Last year City Music donated more than $1,500 to the Gardner and Leominster Music Boosters.
