Monty Tech rewards students for behavior, grades

FITCHBURG - At Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School it pays to have good grades, stay out of trouble and come to school regularly.

The incentive program, known as Bulldog Pride, aims to increase student attendance, decrease discipline problems and create a better school atmosphere, according to Donald E. Cranson, school principal. Prizes are donated by Monty Tech's Business Education Enrichment Fund (B.E.E.F.) and staff members.

Local winners for the second marking period, selected at a recent student assembly, include: Jenay Leger, of Ashburnham , who received a CD car visor; Ashley LeBlanc, of Ashburnham , who received a portable radio/CD player; Michael Barber, of Westminster, who received a Monty Tech Beanie; Nicholas Hurd, of Westminster, who received a portable CD player; Nicholas LeBlanc, of Westminster, who received a portable radio/CD player; and Aaron Cardwell, of Westminster, who received a DVD player.
