The Friends of the Fitchburg Public Library will hold a Spring Book Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the library, 610 Main St., Fitchburg. Donations accepted. Call (978) 345-4526.

Mount Wachusett Community College students present "Depression Awareness Day" from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Commons area, 444 Green St., Gardner. Depression screenings, a panel presentation, brochures and informational poster boards presented. Free.

Messiah Lutheran Preschool and Learning Center, 750 Rindge Road, Fitchburg, will hold its annual Pasta Supper and Silent Auction today. Seatings are at 4 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $6 for adults, $5 for senior citizens, and $3 for children ages 4-12. To purchase tickets, call (978) 345-5954. A Doll Party, hosted by the Central Mass Doll Club, will be held from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church Hall, 89 Sheridan St., Fitchburg. Each child will receive a gift bag and will make a doll and other crafts. Proceeds will be donated to the Humane Society. Children are asked bring a doll or bear to join in the fun. Cost is $3. The 26th annual Visions, a showcase of works by Communications Media students at Fitchburg State College, will be on view today through June 29, in the Fitchburg State Campus Center Art Gallery.
