The Friends of the Fitchburg Public Library will hold a Spring Book Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the library, 610 Main St., Fitchburg. Donations accepted. Call (978) 345-4526. Mount Wachusett Community College students present "Depression Awareness Day" from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Commons area, 444 Green St., Gardner. Depression screenings, a panel presentation, brochures and informational poster boards presented. Free. Messiah Lutheran Preschool and Learning Center, 750 Rindge Road, Fitchburg, will hold its annual Pasta Supper and Silent Auction today. A Doll Party, hosted by the Central Mass Doll Club, will be held from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church Hall, 89 Sheridan St., Fitchburg. Each child will receive a gift bag and will make a doll and other crafts. Proceeds will be donated to the Humane Society. Children are asked bring a doll or bear to join in the fun. Cost is $3.
