Girls' tennis takes on Hudson

On Tuesday, April 15, Oakmont Girls' Tennis Team beat Hudson 4-1 at home.

Two of the team's singles players beat their opponents during the larger match. Kelsey Imig, of Oakmont, defeated Megan Carney, of Hudson, 6-1, 6-2 and Joanna Gustafson, of Oakmont, defeated Kara Clifford, of Hudson, 6-4, 6-1.

Oakmont single's player Stephanie Nebes lost to Jacqui Rossignol, of Hudson. The match ended with a score of 6-3, 6-3.

The two doubles matches both went to Oakmont. Gretchen Carlson and Hannah Ulshen defeated Taryn Arastas and Lauren Waingortin, of Hudson, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4. Elizabeth Brannon and Sally Ledger, of Oakmont, defeated Caitlyn McEntarfer and Lindsay Wade, of Hudson, 7-5, 6-1.

Oakmont is 2-0 on the season.
