Spartans to dedicate Driscoll Park

The Oakmont Spartans are dedicating the baseball field at Oakmont Regional High School as Dennis Driscoll Park.

The dedication will take place at Oakmont Regional High School on Friday, May 23, at 3 p.m. before the Oakmont Varsity Baseball Team takes the field against the team from Quabbin Regional.

A reception will follow the ceremony.

The dedication is to honor Dennis Driscoll, of Ashburnham, who retired from the Ashburnham-Westminster Regional School District after serving as a teacher, an administrator and a coach at Oakmont Regional High and Overlook Middle schools from 1972 to 2005.
