Lane offers lectures on Middle East

Westminster resident George M. Lane, formally the U.S. Ambassador to the Yemen Arab Republic, will conduct three lectures on the Middle East on May 14, 21, and 28, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at McKay Campus School, Fitchburg State College, 160 Pearl St., Fitchburg. Lecture topics will be: the current Iraq situation; Palestinian/Israeli peace prospects; and the current situation in Lebanon. All lectures are free, sponsored by ALFA and Fitchburg State College, and open to the public.
