Applewild School presents Founders Award to Ronald Ansin

Kurtis and Nicholas Bryars' grandfather, Ronald Ansin, was honored with the Founders Award at Applewild School in Fitchburg on April 25.

Ansin, an honorary trustee, began his long-term association with the school when he joined the board in 1971. His grandsons, both Ashburnham residents, are in the sixith and fifth grade at the school.

His daughter, Kimberly Blanchard, of Ashburnham, and sons Kenneth Ansin, of Boston, and Robert Ansin, of Lincoln, attended the ceremony.
