A day to remember
Several teams participated in the Jordyn Taylor Kalagher Scholarship Fund Benefit Day held at Oakmont on Saturday, May 10. Kalagher, an Oakmont student, died on Dec. 11, 2007, after a car accident had played field hockey at Oakmont for three years.

JOURNAL PHOTOS/JEFFREY W. BOUDREAU The Oakmont Student Council donated $1,400 to the Jordyn Kalagher Scholarship fund during the event held in memory of the Oakmont junior. The event raised over $18,000 for the scholarship. Hannah Stevenson, 5, of Hubbardston, came to the family focused event to support her preschool teacher and Jordyn's mom, Judy Kalagher.
